LOOKING FOR AN OPPORTUNITY TO GET INVOVED WITH YOUR TOWN .... ?
The St. Paul Town Council is accepting applications from residents to serve on the Planning and Zoning Commission (P&Z). P&Z members and alternates are appointed by council to two-year terms. They are charged with the responsibility of reviewing for approval all subdivisions, preliminary plans, final plats, site plans, and associated construction drawings as well as considering Special Land Use Permit applications. The purpose of zoning, in general, is to prevent the overcrowding of land, to avoid undue concentration of population, and to conserve the value of property while encouraging the most appropriate use of land throughout the community.
P&Z meets on an “as needed” basis and most meetings last less than an hour. If you are interested in serving, please complete the Volunteer Application Form (Form 08) found on the website in the forms list and email to townhall@stpaultexas.us or drop off at the town hall in person or deposit in the drop box located to the left of the front door.
