Food Service

A current valid Food Service Permit is required to operate a food establishment within the city limits.    A permit will not be issued until after the building in which the establishment is located has been issued a Certificate of Occupancy.     Prior to the approval of a Certificate of Occupancy, the establishment must pass inspection by the town health authority.  A Certificate of Occupancy will not be issued until the establishment is in compliance and the Town of St Paul has received certification of one or more Certified Food Protection Managers ("CFPM").     Food Service establishments are subject to unannounced routine inspections, annual fees, permit renewal and updating of CFPM registration.
